Most audio bedtime stories are a library: the same tale for every child, read by the same voice. Destino tales work differently. Each story is written fresh for one particular child — with their name inside, matched to their age, in the language you choose and from the storytelling tradition you pick. No two stories are alike.

A voice the child knows

A story is read either by a warm, calm ready-made voice or by mum's, dad's or grandma's own. It takes a 20–40-second recording made right in the app; from then on that voice reads new stories you've never read aloud. It works even when a parent isn't there — away for work, on a night shift, in another country. The child still falls asleep to a familiar voice.

What makes every story that child's own

• Culture: 28 storytelling traditions from around the world — German, Georgian, Japanese, Persian, Māori and more. Plots come from documented folk sources, not invention.
• The child's name: the hero can carry your son's or daughter's name, so the tale becomes a story about them.
• Age: three bands — up to 2, 3–5 and 6–8. Not just the length changes, but the plot's complexity and vocabulary.
• Length: 3, 5 or 10 minutes — whatever is left before sleep.
• Language: the story can be told in one language while the app runs in another. Handy for families whose home language isn't the local one.
